Interview With Vancouver Shinpo

A reporter from the Vancouver Shinpo came to our opening reception last Friday.

She gave me an interview and if all goes well, our show may get a small mention in their weekly newspaper.

It would be great to have more Japanese-Canadians come to see the show.

Show at Kafka’s in Vancouver

Keith and I will be having a  joint show at Kafka’s Coffee & Tea from September 16 until November 1, 2011.

My pieces are all sumi-e ink paintings from or based on the last Thirty Days Project. Keith’s are selected Thirty Days Project pieces with many new additions and some prints from his Kaiju collection.

If you can make it to the opening reception, I will be catering.

Originals and prints will be for sale. More announcements, and sneak peeks, to come.

Many thanks to our wonderful curator, Michael Schwartz, and Aaron and the staff  at Kafka’s. They make the most incredible caffe macchiati.
