Aya and I will be having a joint show at Kafka’s Coffee & Tea from September 16 until November 1, 2011.
Aya’s pieces are all sumi-e ink paintings from or based on the last Thirty Days Project. Mine are selected Thirty Days Project pieces with many new additions and some prints from my Kaiju collection.
If you can make it to the opening reception, Aya will be providing some of her amazing catering.
Originals and prints will be for sale. More announcements, and sneak peeks, to come.
Many thanks to our wonderful curator, Michael Schwartz, and Aaron and the staff at Kafka’s. They make the most incredible caffe macchiati.

I was trying to use nib pen on the gouache but the ink wouldn’t flow. Tried to save it with a dry brush. Not happy with the results.
