I was trying to figure out what these were made from, then, I saw what you wrote. Interesting! I saw an art journaling video where the artist used those same styrofoam plates and produce trays to make stamps. She layered several layers of the styrofoam, gluing them together, then, cut it into whatever shape. Ink it and stamp away! But, you probably already knew this, eh? LOL
